Tissue can become restricted due to varies reasons such as over use, trauma etc resultin in pain, muscle tension and reduced blood flow. The fascia and its corresponding muscles are the main focus of myofascial release and it is performed by placing sustained gentle pressure on aggravated areas in order to eliminate pain and restore motion.
